To qualify distinguished and innovative competencies scientifically, skillfully, and ethically in the field of medical equipment technology, and to keep up with comparable departments in reputable local and international universities in order to provide community services in both the public and private sectors using the latest curricula to create a comprehensive academic environment.
Department Goals
- Graduating an engineering staff with scientific and practical skills in diagnosing and repairing faults in medical devices.

Department Mission
The Department of Medical Devices Technology trains its students in the maintenance and development of modern medical devices used in the medical field. The department strives to enhance the skills of its students and provide them with the knowledge necessary to keep up with the latest developments in this field, due to the importance of this area in improving the quality of healthcare.
The department offers courses in areas such as medical engineering, medical electronics, medical imaging, biomedical devices, control and automation, engineering design, medical communications, and other related fields. In addition, the department relies on the latest technologies and modern teaching methods, providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation among students.
