“Under the patronage of our esteemed Dean, Dr. Saeed, and as part of the Continuing Education Unit’s plan, a course on Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Future Trends was held.
The course covered the basics of cybersecurity, methods of cyberattacks, and defensive strategies. Additionally, it discussed future trends, with a focus on the dual role of artificial intelligence in both offensive and defensive applications.
Dr. Alaa Al-Hammami, Head of the Cybersecurity Department, also presented several ideas on safeguarding data and devices from tampering, deletion, and destruction.”
