Job Description

The job description for a dentist includes a wide range of tasks. After completing the five-year academic program, the graduate is awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and Oral Surgery. The graduate possesses precise and up-to-date scientific and practical knowledge, enabling them to effectively practice oral and dental disease examination and treatment.

Graduates are enrolled in the dental training system organized by the Ministry of Health, which enhances their practical skills and prepares them for work in this field. After gaining the necessary practical experience, graduates can apply for membership in the Iraqi Dental Association, which grants them all the privileges, rights, and duties enjoyed by their peers who graduated from dental schools.
