The future vision of the Department of Pharmacy is to be a leader in pharmaceutical education and scientific research at the local and regional levels, in addition to preparing qualified pharmacy professionals who are ready to work in healthcare institutions with scientific knowledge, dedication to work, and continuous development in scientific research fields.

Mission of the Department of Pharmacy
The Department of Pharmacy at Al-Hikma University College is an educational and research institution with a public benefit, aiming to enhance human health. The Department of Pharmacy is committed to preparing highly competent and distinguished pharmacists through adopting the highest scientific, medical, and professional standards at all stages of education, training, and preparation. The department aims to advance scientific and applied pharmaceutical research directed at serving patients and the community.

Objectives

• Achieving the standards set by the National Committee for Academic Accreditation for Pharmacy Colleges in Iraq.
• Providing the highest level of education and creating an encouraging learning environment for students.
• Preparing distinguished pharmacists capable of providing the best pharmaceutical services in various specialties for all segments of society.
• Aspiring for the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Hikma University College to be recognized as one of the most distinguished pharmacy departments in all educational and research fields.
• Enhancing the level of scientific research in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and emphasizing applied research.
• Preparing postgraduate students (higher diplomas, master’s, Ph.D.) to enrich Iraqi universities and community institutions with teaching staff and experts in various pharmaceutical specialties, qualified to lead and develop their institutions.
• Organizing conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops.
