Department Vision

The Accounting Department at Al-Hikma University College aspires to be a leading institution both locally and internationally in providing accounting education. This will be achieved in alignment with international academic standards, aiming to prepare qualified graduates capable of innovation and leadership in accounting, auditing, finance, and investment. The department is committed to implementing quality assurance and academic accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, it seeks to keep pace with developments in peer departments at reputable local and international universities, while strengthening its relationships with government agencies, mixed and private sector companies, consulting firms, professional associations, and affiliated educational institutions.

Prepare highly competent accounting professionals for work in the public, private, and mixed sectors.
Contribute to supplying the job market with well-qualified accountants, both academically and practically.
Train accounting professionals with a bachelor’s degree to engage in auditing and regulatory work in both government units and commercial enterprises.
Organize developmental courses and discussion panels for specialized employees in the public, private, and mixed sectors as part of continuous education initiatives, fostering cooperation and community service.
Equip graduates to work as teachers in commercial high schools and technical institutes as teaching assistants.

The Accounting Department strives to provide high-quality educational programs that focus on equipping students with modern accounting knowledge and skills. It aims to prepare graduates capable of meeting the evolving demands of the job market and contributing to governance, transparency, and sound management in various institutions by applying professional and ethical standards.
