Admission Inputs and Learning Outcomes

First: Admission Inputs:

  1. Applicants for admission to the department must have a high school diploma (secondary school certificate) or its equivalent in the following branches (Scientific, Biological, Applied, Literary) and graduates of commercial fields (General and Accounting) from a recognized institution.
  2.  Academic average: The Accounting Department sets a specific average for acceptance into the academic program, according to the standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Second: Learning Outcomes:

  1. Accounting Knowledge: Mastery of the basic concepts of financial and managerial accounting, and understanding how to prepare and interpret the elements of financial statements.
  2. Financial Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make strategic decisions that support the performance of departments in companies and business organizations.
  3. Use of Accounting Technology: Proficiency in using modern accounting software and financial technology to facilitate the preparation of financial reports, managing accounts, and keeping records.
  4. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Development of critical and analytical thinking skills to solve complex financial and accounting problems.
  5. Effective Communication: Ability to prepare and present detailed and simplified financial reports to company departments or clients.
  6. Professional Ethics: Adherence to ethical and professional standards in all accounting practices, enhancing transparency and integrity in the work.
  7. Workforce Preparation: Preparing graduates with appropriate skills in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis to work in local and international institutions, whether in the public or private sectors, with suitable academic and practical skills.
  8. Scientific Research: Ability to conduct scientific research and applied studies in accounting, financial reporting, auditing, financial control, finance, and investment to find innovative solutions to the challenges faced in the workplace.
