The Department of English welcomes graduates from the literary and scientific branches of preparatory studies, as well as graduates from the Teacher Preparation Institutes (English language).

Graduates from the English Department at Al-Hikma University receive a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Language. These graduates have various career opportunities, especially in the educational field, working in the Ministries of Education and Higher Education. Additionally, graduates from this department have significant opportunities within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly in embassies and consulates, through their enrollment in the Foreign Service Institute, which facilitates work in embassies, consulates, and cultural attaché offices under the Ministry of Higher Education.

Furthermore, graduates of our department have a significant advantage in the field of translation. They can obtain a translator’s title and work in various sectors, both official (such as conferences and governmental institutions) and private fields.
