Overview of Law Department

The Department of Law is one of the four departments of the University of Wisdom College, along with the Department of Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Computer Technology in 2010. Many students have graduated from it in the morning and evening studies. It is distinguished by its distinguished and applied study, as the student specializes in that initial study that lasts for four years of receiving pioneering sciences in the specialization of legal specializations that lead him to the job market, whether in the field of advocacy or employment in a government department, not required privately or completing the higher education, in addition to the supporting materials for the basic materials such as the Arabic language, computer and language to enable you to view the study of Islamic sciences, including the College of Graduate Studies, personal status, inheritance and the principles of Islamic jurisprudence. The student graduates with a law degree that qualifies him for the field of work he practices. The student does not enjoy experience through the presence of a virtual applied court within the college supervised by a judge and competent lecturers by presenting the main case received from the Iraqi courts so that the student can witness the real way of pleading before the criminal court, whether civil or criminal, in order to overcome the barrier of fear through that training, in addition to the summer training that directs the student to the trial courts for assistance after passing the third stage The Department of Law also has joint cooperation with the faculties of law in specialized universities, especially the College of Law – Al-Mustansiriya University. Cooperation and collaboration with them has been activated in exchanging experiences and participating in annual conferences and discussions of postgraduate studies (masters and doctorates) by the lecturers of the Department of Law at Al-Hikma University College.
